     Sunday School

sunday school

Sunday School: We are a youth honouring parish, where the child is our focus. We honour the child. We honour the needs of our children. Our programming reflects our desire to reach out and fulfill the developmental needs of the children coming to us. We need to inspire them and open up their imagination. It's about connecting them to the wonder of life.

Sunday School is available weekly for children aged 2 to grade 7 at the 10am service from September through June. Youth Sunday School takes place usually on the third Sunday each month.

Our Sunday School Coordinators work hard to involve parents and other members of the congregation in the program.

Our aim is to offer children an experience of welcome and inclusion into a church community, as well as providing a good beginning on their Christian Education.

The Sunday School program is supported by other educational and worship events through the year:

The Advent Event takes place as Advent begins. This day is about preparing our hearts for the feast of Christmas.

The Christmas Pageant takes place at the early service on Christmas Eve. It is an opportunity for people of all ages to participate in the dramatic retelling of the story of the birth of the Saviour.

The Good Friday Family Service is a moving time of reflection as we retell the story of the Passion of our Lord with participation from all ages.
