  labyrinth

Re-painting of the labyrinth was recently completed.  A big thank-you to the small band of volunteers who put hundreds of hours into the re-painting effort.  Special thanks go to the Newman clan, to Paul and to David for their dedicated care and workmanship.

We gladly accept donations to help with the labyrinth's renewal.

                Calling all Gardeners

A Pre-Writers’ Festival Clean Up is scheduled Aug. 1st after the 10:00 service.  Please help us to give the grounds a summer spruce up in time for the many visitors that will be passing through St Hilda’s on their way to the Festival of the Written Arts.  Your participation and support is essential in keeping our grounds beautiful.  Please bring garden tools and lots of enthusiasm to assist in giving St Hilda’s a summer tidy.

                       Pie Society

There will be a meeting of the Pie Society after the 10am service on Sunday, Aug. 1 in the Gathering Room. Everyone is welcome! Come and hear about our exciting plans for the Thanksgiving Pie Sale to take place Saturday, October 9th in the hall. Last year we baked and sold over 130 pies with all proceeds going to St Hilda’s. We welcome cash donations and fruit. Lots of inspiring recipes and foil pans will be available. Please consider getting involved in this community-wide fundraiser. For more information, please contact Laurelle Findler (885 5641).
