Pilgrimage in Story and Life
 |
|
Workshop at
St. John's United Church:
Pilgrimage In
Story And Life:
Friday, January
13 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, January
14 from 9:30-3:00 p.m. with the Rev
Lynne McNaughton and the Rev Dr. Gerald
Hobbs. Cost: $25 (lunch included).
Pilgrimage as "travel with a spiritual
purpose" is a major theme in the stories
of our faith tradition. Whether we
travel or not, pilgrimage also has the
potential of becoming a "lived meta-phor"
that opens us in times of change to
embrace God's transforming work in
our-selves and our faith communities.
See poster in breezeway for more
information. A sign up sheet is
available in the narthex.
