A Canada Day Thank You! St. Hilda's has entered the Canada Day Parade on July 1st! Our message is to say THANK YOU to our community for supporting the restoration of our sanctuary. We plan to have one combined service at 9 am and at the conclusion of our worship we shall be sent out into the world to Spread the Light of Christ at the parade. There will be no communion this Sunday. We will be experimenting with having a paperless Service of the Word. Come with open mind and heart, relax and sing our praises to God!
St. Hilda's Church will be float #15 lining up on Ocean Avenue between Cowrie and Dolphin. We shall be right behind the syiyayay Reconciliation Movement and Spirited Drums. We will have an EV (electric vehicle, thanks to Carol and Ted Eades) and have seats for 3-4 for parishioners who may not be able way the whole parade route.
Meg Stevens and J Lee Cook are organizing a sign-making party on Saturday, June 30 at 11:30 am at St. Hilda's. All are welcome!
