Celebrating the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene, Apostle of the Apostles: We shall gather next week to observed the Feast of Mary Magdalene for the first time on a Sunday at St. Hilda’s. Last year Pope Francis raised the July 22 memorial of St. Mary Magdalene to a feast on the church's liturgical calendar by his decree titled "Apostolorum Apostola" ("Apostle of the Apostles"). In recent years, Mary Magdalene has been re-discovered by scholars and spiritual teachers as an icon bearing witness to the Wisdom of Christ. Come and celebrate a special liturgy prepared by the Worship Committee and encounter Mary anew.
