St Hilda’s parish has embarked on a process to better understand property re-development options. The purpose of this process is to be able to make informed decisions in support of the current and future mission of the parish, rooted in the needs of the wider Sunshine Coast community.

To begin this process, St Hilda’s has commissioned a feasibility study with funding from the Diocese. Led by three local expert consultants – Tanya Smith, Matt Thomson, and Chris Hergesheimer, this study will engage the community, parish, and local stakeholders. The outcome is to provide the necessary information for the people of St Hilda’s and the Diocese to decide how, and in what ways, the Church may upgrade the physical property.

The study is not intended as a development plan, but rather as a precursor to a more detailed concept, design and business case for re-development - funding and progress permitting. This redevelopment feasibility study will present scenario options, showcase basic designs and present high level costing. The selected scenarios will form the foundation for a more detailed study should the Parish wish to pursue this.

Tanya, Matt and Chris would like to invite everyone to a Visioning Workshop on April 10th at 10AM. The session will last two hours. This workshop will build on what the Parish discussed in March of last year.

If you are unable to attend the Visioning Workshop, or have any feedback for the consultant team at any point, please feel free to email your comments to sthildasredev@gmail.com.
