Sept 7, 2025 is the first Sunday in our Season of Creation. Following the service, we will be having a parish potluck celebrating the newly declared Anglican Feast of the Creator.  We encourage you to bring a vegetarian dish to share with our parish family.

During the Season of Creation, the Green Parish Action Group will be at coffee time with “Green Tables” covering several areas, including St Hilda’s plans for Heat Pumps, Solar Panels and Battery Storage Systems.  Heather Rankin will again be putting on a display of library books in the narthex concerning sustainability, and the climate emergency

As in past years, we will be holding weekly meditative walks. We will gather at 2PM on Tuesdays for a short meeting and then a walk, to consider the gifts of creation which surround us, and which we often don’t take time to recognise.  The current schedule for September is:

  • Sept 2nd – Snickett Park, meeting at the picnic tables at the shore to the west of ocean end of Ocean Ave.
  • Sept 9th – Kinnikinnick Park, meeting on Ripple Way at the south west corner of the Park at the ball diamond.
  • Sept 16th - Sechelt Marsh, meeting at 2PM at the Ebbtide St entry by the Crosswalk
  • Sept 23rd – the Grounds of St Hilda’s
  • Sept 30th – Walk with the Shishalh Nation for National Truth and Reconciliation Day
